OneMind - from Concept to Solution
In the Design Phase, business objectives are discussed and requirments for the project are determined. The resulting conceptual model forms the basis for the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse system. From the key performance indicators and other analytical information that has been modeled in the MindMap, the BI system emerges. The design not only reflects the solution - it also enables stakeholders to acertain the feasbility of acheving their goals. Further manual development to extend the capabilities of the system is also possible.

OneMind supports teamwork by promoting a level of understanding in the design process. It narrows the gap between traditional relational database design methodology and Business Intelligence. Mindmapping to design multidimensional databases based on the Microsoft BI Platform is a transparent and innovative way to accelerate the process and increase the quality of BI implementations silmutaneously.
Design
The Mindmap acts as a focal point for requirements discussions between the business users and IT. Mindmaps are especially well-suited for gathering ideas and brainstorming because of the ability to associate keywords. These associations enable construction and management of complex structures.
Development
Even complex dimension structures can be created using the Dimension Editor. An experienced user can use it to create dimensions that are part of a library, for re-use in other data models.
Production
From the definition of the data model, the basic schema for the future data warehouse is created in Microsoft SQL Server automatically.
Presentation
OneMind includes a report library based on report templates that work with the databases it generates. The user can choose settings for rows, columns, filters, and calculations in the report and then the report is created automatically.

OneConnect – The "Universal Adapter"OneConnect is a solution for seamless integration between SAP and Microsoft BI. It enables SAP connectivity, providing a cost effective alternative to SAP BW. The key component, Xtract-IS, has been developed in partnership with Theobald Software exclusively for pmOne, and includes many additional features that can be useful in large implementations. Following the phrase, "build once, deploy anywhere" pmOne offers prebuilt ETL processes for standard SAP content such as the FI, CO, SD, and MM modules. It also includes a tool for managing the system-wide process control flow with dashboards and error analysis capabilities.
